Our Control Tower is a centralized HUB that manages and coordinates all data from your and our logistics and provides insight into a web-based platform. The Control Tower is the central location for all stakeholders involved in the logistics process, including shippers, carriers, warehouses and end customers.
The Control Tower aims to analyze and streamline the entire transport process, from planning to execution and delivery. Using advanced technologies such as real-time tracking and analytics, the Control Tower can optimize the flow of goods and information and improve the overall performance of your supply chain.
The Control Tower can perform the following tasks, among others:
Coordination of shipments and carriers: The Control Tower plans and coordinates the various shipments and ensures that our drivers and our charters are on time and at the right location.
- Coordination of your packaging flows: the Control Tower plans and coordinates your packaging flows with the aim of minimizing stocks, saving costs, improving operational efficiency and promoting sustainability. By having the right packaging at the right place at the right time, your logistics processes can run faster and more effectively. This saves you time and money.
- Real-time tracking and monitoring: the Control Tower tracks the shipments in real-time and makes adjustments where necessary. The Control Tower links with our Driver APP and Customer APP and provides real-time communication with our vehicles and the Live Track & Trace solution.
- Respond proactively to changes: If delays or other issues arise, the Control Tower can react quickly and offer alternative solutions to ensure shipments arrive on time.
- Insight into your stocks: the Control Tower links with our WMS (Warehouse Management System) from SolidWMS. This gives you live insight into your stocks, articles, inbound and outbound orders and the expected arrival times of your incoming goods.
- Linking to online platforms: the Control Tower links to most online transport platforms. By making smart use of these platforms, we have access to a wide network of logistics partners for shipments throughout Europe, which will lead to the optimization and streamlining of your and our logistics processes. This can lead to great cost savings and improved efficiency. Platforms with which we link include: Teleroute, TimoCom and Transporeon.
