SEC transport
SEC Transport (Super EcoCombi)
Van Dooren Transport is investigating the possibilities of using the SEC (Super Eco Combi) on certain routes. The SEC consists of the combination of a tractor > 13.60 m semi-trailer > dolly > 13.60 m semi-trailer. With its 32 meters, the SEC has 26 meters of loading space. This is 6 loading meters (30%) more than the EcoCombi (LZV), of which there are now around 1,300 driving on Dutch roads. The SEC is currently still a concept vehicle for which a test program has been started.
