Van Dooren Transport (since 1895) has a long history that began in the Bollenstreek region and is still a family business, currently run by the fifth generation. We organize all conditioned transport from our head office in Hillegom (NL 2182). We specialize primarily in the conditioned transport of flower bulbs, perennials, plant cuttings, tree nursery products, foodstuffs, wine imports, and medicines.

Import
Van Dooren Transport can also handle imports from Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and northern France. We load import freight from these countries on a daily basis. Thanks to our network of various carriers, we can offer you good coverage in the above countries.
Short lines of communication
Our customers enjoy short lines of communication with the planners responsible for their projects. We believe personal contact is extremely important, which is why you will be assigned a permanent contact person in the planning department. This minimizes the risk of errors and makes it easy for our customers to communicate quickly.
Van Dooren Transport APP
You and your customer can use the Van Dooren Transport APP free of charge. This APP allows you to enter shipments, view order statuses, and track shipments via Track & Trace. In addition, you can digitally authorize domestic shipments by means of contactless signing. The driver signs on his mobile device and you and/or your customer sign on your mobile device or PC.
Logistics
We can assist you with pallet storage, cross-docking of shipments, and the loading and unloading of pallets and containers. Our WMS takes care of your inventory management, administrative processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, and the creation of freight documents (AVC, CMR). Our transport planning department can arrange incoming and outgoing transport shipments at competitive rates.
We have approximately 15,000 m2 of warehouse space spread over four locations in the Netherlands (Hillegom NL2182, Breezand NL1764, Bergen NL5854). All locations have loading docks and are accessible to large equipment, including LZV/EcoCombi.
