Van Dooren Transport has been operating several LHVs (Long Heavy Vehicles), also known as EcoCombis, for many years. The EcoCombis are 25.25 meters long and are used for customers with mainly long routes within the Netherlands and the border region of Germany.

   

Transport with EcoCombis has significantly contributed to our customers' efficiency and has also had a positive impact on the CO2 footprint for both Van Dooren Transport and its customers.

Van Dooren Transport has both temperature-controlled LHVs and tautliners. Both types offer 20 meters of loading space. Customers must, of course, take into account the legal maximum train weight (total weight of vehicle + load) of 60,000 kg. Internationally, different maximum weights apply.

Kilometer charge Netherlands 2026
On July 1, 2026, a truck toll will be introduced in the Netherlands. On this page, we will discuss the associated changes. This new kilometer charge applies to all highways, a number of N-roads, and some local roads near larger cities.
