The dahlia is not only one of the oldest bulb flowers, it is also a versatile flower with a wide range of applications. Think of landscaping and retail for cut flowers, but also for potted dahlias. Breeders are actively developing new varieties, new shapes, and new colors. For exporters and traders, it is important to have a good overview of the range. Dáár is het Holland Dahlia Event voor bedoeld. Het is een event dat de Dahlia in al haar aspecten laat zien. Bedrijven in het belangrijkste productiegebied van Nederland – tussen Leiden en Haarlem – zetten van donderdag 24 tot en met zaterdag 26 augustus drie dagen lang hun deuren open. Die dagen lopen synchroon met het Plantarium, de grootste boomkwekerijvakbeurs van Nederland. U kunt dus twee beurzen in één bezoek aan Nederland combineren.

Wat kunt u verwachten?

Bij een aantal deelnemers vindt u het gehele assortiment in bloei. Ze staan op het veld en binnen op vazen. Bekende rassen die tot de populairste Dahlia’s behoren, maar ook talentvolle nieuwkomers. Bedrijven vertellen u graag meer over de mogelijkheden tot samenwerking. En het gaat niet alleen maar om de schitterende bloem zelf, ook staan verpakkingsmaterialen, productlijnen en andere zaken in de spotlights. Daarom mag u het Holland Dahlia Event niet missen!
