Roy van Schie from TRS transportkoeling gave a demonstration at Van Dooren Transport of a new product they supply. A system that makes it possible to power a standard refrigerated trailer (in this case a Burg Silvergreen) hydraulically and electrically with a Start-Stop system. This results in savings on fuel costs, maintenance costs, and CO2 emissions.

This hydraulic-electric drive also enables them to equip trailers with underfloor heating. In our opinion, this can be a major advantage in terms of reducing cargo damage during the climate-controlled transport of cuttings, flowers, and plants.

TRS

In the more than 30 years that TRS has been in existence, it has developed from a local service provider into an international manufacturer of sustainable transport cooling systems for trucks, containers, and controlled atmosphere refrigerated transport. TRS systems are hydraulically and electrically powered by the economical and clean truck engine. This makes them fuel-efficient, low-maintenance, and very quiet. At TRS, cost savings and sustainability are therefore core values in the development of advanced new technology. The systems developed by TRS are covered by international patents. TRS is active in the product groups Transport Cooling, Eco-drive GenSets, and Tank Containers.
