Amended transport legislation tackles unfair competition
Yesterday, the revised Road Transport of Goods Act (Wwg) came into force. This act sets out the requirements that freight transporters must meet if they wish to transport goods. TLN welcomes the amended act because it now makes enforcement of cabotage possible. Foreign transporters who transport more within the Netherlands than is legally permitted will no longer be able to do so with impunity.

Below you will find the fuel surcharge percentages per calendar week. On Mondays, we determine the current fuel percentages based on the average national recommended price of the previous week. The national and international clauses can be found in our rates and quotations.

Flower bulb transporters Van Dooren Transport & AB Texel join forces
The two flower bulb transporters will integrate the planning and execution of flower bulb transport this summer season. After years of collaboration through the exchange of freight, the two companies have decided to centralize their flower bulb planning. This integration will enable them to carry out transport more efficiently. Van Dooren Transport will be responsible for management, planning, and administration. To continue to guarantee service and quality, AB Texel will continue to provide trucks and drivers during the bulb seasons.
