Conditioned Plant Transport

Van Dooren Transport has a long history of transporting flower bulbs and tree nursery products. In recent years, we have invested heavily in climate-controlled trailers and combinations. We use these to provide daily transport services, mainly to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and England.

Zero Emission Zones Netherlands
Since January 1, 2025, the first 18 municipalities in the Netherlands have introduced a zero-emission zone (also known as a zero-emission zone). Later this year, around 10 more municipalities and Schiphol Airport will follow suit. A zero-emission zone is an area where, in time, only emission-free commercial vehicles and trucks will be allowed to drive. This goes further than an environmental zone, where certain polluting vehicles still have limited access.

FTL Transport
The term FTL refers to "Full Truckload Transport," which is a logistics term used to describe when a truck is fully loaded with goods from a single shipper and transported to a single recipient. In this type of transport, the truck is not shared with other shipments from other shippers or recipients.

Van Dooren Transport (since 1895) has a long history that began in the Bollenstreek region and is still a family business, currently run by the fifth generation. We organize all temperature-controlled transport from our head office in Hillegom (NL 2182).
